Rutgers Player Paralyzed: Eric Legrand Football Injury Video – A lot of people are worried about the condition of Eric Legrand as he was taken to Hackensack Medical Center last Saturday after suffering a spinal injury in a collision against Army’s football player Malcolm Brown. His body was paralyzed from neck below all the way to his feet.

After the collision, Eric LeGrand lay motionless for seven minutes while his neck was immobilized and he was placed on a backboard. He was immediately treated at the intensive care unit of the hospital. Army coach Rich Ellerson walked on the field at one point and put his hand on Rutger coach Schiano’s shoulder to comfort him.

LeGrand’s family thanked all the people who helped them saying: “We want to say thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, kind words, and well wishes. We appreciate every single thought. Eric is in good spirits and we are praying for a full recovery.”
When asked about LeGrand’s condition in the hospital, Coach Schiano said: “Eric’s spirits were as good as you can expect. He was cognizant of me being there, his mom, everybody. He’s a fighter.”

Below is Eric Le Grand’s Video detailing what happened to him after making a violent tackle in the game against Army last Saturday. We’re all praying for his fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him walk again with his team.
