Is there a soul alive who has not seen the classic musical, "The Sound of Music"? Doubtful. In fact, "The Sound of Music" is one of the most watched and adored movies of not only its time, but in film history. The 1965 musical, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, tells a simple story: one of desiring peace in a time of war, with undertones of humanity, love, and the trials of growing up. No wonder it is beloved by so many.

We all know the fate of Julie Andrews, who continued in the spotlight long after Maria's final song. But what about Christopher Plummer, the devilishly handsome man who portrayed Captain Von Trapp?
Though his name may not be quite as famous as the aforementioned Andrews, now 81-year-old Christopher Plummer had had a long and storied career over the past forty-five years since "The Sound of Music", on both the stage and the big screen. Plummer has starred in stage hits, as well as screen gems like "The Man Who Would Be King" and "The Thorn Birds". More recently, he's voiced the character of Charles Muntz in the critically acclaimed animated film "Up", as well as had parts in "Syriana" and "Inside Man". In short, what hasn't Christopher Plummer been up to?!

You can catch Plummer in 2011 as Henrik Vanger in the highly anticipated, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", as well as on stage in "Barrymore".
