Multiple sources are reporting that the Broncos' ultra-talented, but volatile wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been traded to the Miami Dolphins for two second round picks.

ESPN's Adam Schefter, who reported the trade, cites league sources who say that the deal Marshall signs with the Dolphins will be among the most lucrative for a receiver in NFL history.

Marshall, 26, has had at least 100 receptions for at least 1,100 yards in each of the last three seasons. He made the pro-bowl in 2008 and 2009.

However, Marshall's tenure in Denver has been marred by run-ins with coaches and legal problems. Coach Josh McDaniels benched the star wideout for the team's pivotal final game of 2009 after Marshall showed up late to a therapy session.

This was the culmination of a long and contentious relationship beween McDaniels and Marshall.

In August, Marshall was found not guilty of misemeanor battery after his ex-girlfriend accused him of abuse.

ESPN reports that the Broncos will receive one second round pick to use in this month's draft, and one 2011 second rounder.
