LeAnn Rimes' former husband has moved on.

Dean Sheremet proposed to his live-in girlfriend Sarah Silver with an antique 1950s three-carat ring on Friday morning, US Weekly reported.

As for Rimes, who ditched the Nobu 57 chef for her on-screen co-star Eddie Cibrian last year?

She's thrilled!

"Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah_silver on your engagement! A little birdie told me the happy news last night," the country music star tweeted Saturday. "Wishes for a life full of happiness."

Sheremet and Silver, a photographer, are planning a summer wedding in New York City, sources told US Weekly.

Rimes and her new love were rumored to be engaged last week after a Halloween photo of Cibrian jokingly proposing to her surfaced, but she promised fans she had no new ring on her finger.

"Ok, I've about had it with the lack of "reporting" with E News," she tweeted at the time, after the network reported she was ready to tie the knot again.

For Rimes, a happily engaged ex may take some of the heat off of the starlet, whose fans are still furious at her for the affair. In October, Shape magazine readers trashed the fitness magazine for putting Rimes on the cover, saying she was a bad role model.

Rimes and Cibrian had an affair on the set of the Lifetime film "Northern Lights" in March of 2009. She officially split from Sheremet in July.

"The truth is that we're human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love," Cibrian, 37, told ABC's "All Access Nashville" last week. "We're talking about something that's over a year, year and-a-half old, really and we're still together and we're madly in love."
