Jon Lajoie or Jonathan “Jon” Lajoie (La-jwah) was born 1980 and raised in Montreal Quebec, Canada. He is a Canadian comedian, actor, rapper, musician, and internet celebrity from Montreal, Quebec. Lajoie became very popular with his video “Everyday Normal Guy.” Some of his additional videos are “The Bastard Breaks Up”, “Show Me Your Genitals”, “Sunday Afternoon”, and “High As Fuck.” Recently, he released his new songs like: “Cold-Blooded Christmas”, “Alone In The Universe”, “Radio Friendly Song”, and a lot more.
Lajoie’s songs are often parodies of everyday things. One of the latest video song of Jon Lajoie is his song to Powerhouse. Common to his videos is the appearance of his friend Steve, a man with a thick beard who doesn’t speak much except his line, “You want some of this bitch?” In Everyday Normal Crew, what’s funny here is that Steve refuses to say it until Lajoie pays him. Now, in the same video, Lajoie says that Steve will, “probably have a heart attack sometime soon.”
Lajoie released his debut album You Want Some Of This? on January 30, 2009 under his Normal Guy Productions. It features all his songs from his YouTube sketches. Lajoie currently acts his role in the FX Network TV show called “The League.” This show is about the five guys who loves fantasy football and they will do anything to win the league while dealing with other problems. Jon Lajoie also filmed an episode of Comedy Central Presents on November 7, 2009 and premiered on March5, 2010.
Lajoie said, “I’m making fun of that kind of music and stuff, but I am saying a bunch of horrible things when I do that, and some people don’t get that.”
