ake Harris is presently making waves on the net after being caught red-handed on tonight's episode of the Deadliest Catch by none other than his father, Captain Phil Harris.

The episode entitled "The Darkened Seas" features Jake slacking off from his duties on the Cornelia Marie while his father tries to motivate him in captaining the boat. Eventually Capt. Harris discovers that Jake has been stealing his pills.

"You're a thief and a liar," Capt. Harris tells his son Jake after witnessing the "unthinkable," adding that he wants nothing more to do with him once they get back on shore. The episode ends as Jake Harris pleads with his dad and admits that he's an addict.

Meanwhile, we all know that tonight's episode is just the start of a rocky and painful road for Capt. Phil, who died earlier this year. Next week, the Deadliest Catch will feature Capt. Phil as he suffers a stroke.

Wow, unfortunately a fight broke out following the fight between what seemed to be Jason Miller and the entire Jake Shields camp. CBS was fast to move away from the fight. It is unclear what exactly happened because they cut away from it.
Gus Johnson drops the bomb that sometimes things like that just happen in MMA.

Jake Lloyd Talks 'Star Wars: Episode I' Ten Years Later

After the success (financial, anyway) of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace back in 1999, Jake Lloyd (young Anakin Skywalker) pretty much took a break from screen acting to do all that growing up.

Well, Sci-Fi Pi -- the SciFi Channel's blog Down Under, where it's not called SyFy; lucky them -- managed an interview with Lloyd at Australia's Supanova pop culture expo about starring in the prequel and his life in the decade after, and I found it to be a brief but telling look at how childhood stardom plays out today.

On the one hand, he's clearly grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of something so big, but on the other, it seems to be that one thing that his high school and college peers tend to harp on, to a clearly wearying extent. I certainly wouldn't begrudge him his current year-long hiatus from school if that's what he still has to put up with. What do you think about the interview?

Thanks to Drew over at Hitfix for pointing this out.
