A memorial fund for the wife and unborn child of Brian Wood, the Company of Heroes designer who was killed in an auto wreck last week, has been set up and is now taking donations.
Brian R. Wood, a designer at Relic Entertainment, was killed last week when his vehicle was struck head-on by a Chevy Blazer that had gone out of control and crossed the median. His wife Erin, who is six months pregnant, reported that Wood swerved at the last second to take the brunt of the collision himself, saving her and their child.
A memorial trust fund has now been established to help Erin and her baby manage through this incredibly difficult and tragic time. "Brian was a very close friend," said Szymon Mazus of Radical Entertainment. "He was just the kindest, most down to earth person you could ever hope to meet, as is Erin. We have set up a trust fund to help Erin and the baby during this very difficult time."
Donations to the Brian Wood Memorial Trust can be made in person at any North Shore Credit Union branch in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, online through PayPal or via regular mail.
