Tiger Woods saga: The crash that launched a thousand rumors (slideshow photos)

Tiger Woods was seen as an "All American," clean-cut, superstar golfer with a beautiful wife and two adorable children—until last week, that is…
On Nov. 27, Woods had a minor fender bender with a fire hydrant and a tree, which led to a flurry of rumors that the crash resulted from an argument the golfer and his wife, Elin Nordegren, had over another woman.
The first woman named as a "Woods' woman" was forced into the spotlight by a National Enquirer probe, which claims Rachel Uchitel, a 34-year-old VIP manager, had met Woods for romantic trysts in various parts of the world. She adamantly denied those allegations; however, it was reported she later recanted, and admitted to being intimate with the athlete.
Jamie Grubbs, of ‘Tool Academy’ fame, came forward claiming she and Woods were an item. She also provided a voicemail she alleges Woods left for her.
Yet another woman, Kalika Moquin, is remaining hush hush about her alleged involvement with Woods and told Life & Style magazine, “It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other.”
Finally, on Saturday another woman hit the spotlight telling a British newspaper she and Woods had a two year love affair. Jamie Jungers is a cocktail waitress who claims to have met the golfer at a Las Vegas night club.

There's no telling whether more women will be revealed to have been involved with the married golfing great, however, only time will tell.

Tiger Woods scandal continues growing

The Tiger Woods scandal doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, but rather is growing.

It began with an accident outside of Woods' home, then came the rumors of affairs.

Woods hasn't acknowledged any specific relationships but said on his website that he hasn't been true to his values.

The apology came after a Los Angeles cocktail waitress released a voice-mail, reportedly from Woods.

On Thursday, Newschannel 3 spoke to people in West Michigan to get their reaction to the scandal. It certainly has people talking, and the most common reaction seems to be one of disappointment.

Inside Year Round Golf in Schoolcraft, owner Dieter Valk says he's a big fan, but these days, that comes with some reservations.

“I'm a big Tiger fan,” said Valk. “Obviously I'm also very, very disappointed in his actions.”

Woods' self-described 'transgressions' are now very much under the world's curious eye.

“He is in the limelight all the time, so I think it is part of our business,” said Valk, “he put himself where he is with the people that support him.”

Golfer Marty Sepanik said he expected better from Woods.

“I thought he was a mature individual,” said Sepanik. “What kind of leadership role does he play?”

Mike Valk isn't a huge fan of Woods, but his twelve-year-old son is.

“He asked questions and it's a tough thing to answer,” said Valk. “I let him know Tiger made a mistake.”

But not everyone agrees that mistake needs to be played out in public.

“It's his personal business, it's his wife's business to handle,” said Melisa Beeson. “I really don't think we should be paying attention to him.”

“Famous people's business is always on the news,” said Anthony Phillips, “but I don't think it's any of our business.”

People also had mixed reactions as to whether the scandal will effect Woods' golf game. Some expect it to be a distraction, while other said it could push him to be even better on the course.

Despite his problems, corporate sponsors are standing by Woods. The golfer has sponsorship deals that are worth a hundred million dollars annually. His largest sponsors include Nike and Gatorade, who say their relationship with Woods has not changed, and that they support him and his family.

Tiger to get traffic ticket

Tiger Woods is going to be issued a traffic ticket for his single-car crash on Friday.

CNN.com reports that the golfer is being charged with careless driving, and he’ll be orded to pay $164 in fines. He’ll also get four points on his license for the moving violation. The charges stem from his SUV collision early Friday when he struck a fire hydrant and then a neighbor’s tree while pulling out of his driveway.

Tiger and his wife Elin Nordegren, who reportedly pulled him from the vechile after the crash, have repeatedly declined to speak to the Florida Highway Patrol since the accident. However, authorities said that he has provided them with his driver’s license, registration and insurance information, thus meeting all requirements for vehicular accidents.

"Mr. Woods' status in no way impacted our investigation or conclusion. The investigation has determined that Mr. Woods is at fault in the crash,” said. Maj. Cindy Williams of the FHP told CNN. "With the issuance of this citation, the Florida Highway Patrol has completed its investigation into this matter."

Cops don’t have enough additional information to request a medical investigation into the matter.

And as Tiger’s alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel continues deny any extramarital relationship with the golfer, another woman has come forward to confess her affair with him.

Jamie Grubbs, who some may recognize from the first season of “Tool Academy,” claims she and Tiger were sleeping together since April 2007, E! Online reports. And, apparently, she’s got voicemails and more than 300 text messages as evidence of their extended tryst, include some 20 sessions in bed.

Tiger Woods Mistress, Rachel Uchitel, Cause of Car Accident

"The situation is my fault," said Tiger Woods in a statement he made after his car accident outside his Florida home. But what "situation" is Tiger referring to? Is he referring to his reupted mistress and former New York night club hostess Rachel Uchitel? According to Rachel she denies ever having an affair with Woods, calling the rumors "ridiculous." Well according to police reports Woods was found unconscious on the ground next to his car, his wife said she used one of Tiger Woods golf clubs to break the back window to get him out of the car. The golfer has lacerations on his face, but from what? Tabloids are claiming that this accident was the result of a domestic feud between Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren because of an alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel.
Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Woods rumored mistress, hired an attorney immediately after tabloids reported the affair. She claims that Woods has been to the night club and she has personally escorted him and his crew in and out as part of her job handling VIP services. Do those VIP services include happier endings? Uchitel states "Tiger and I are not friends. That is a whole different ballgame. I've only met him twice....I do not have sex with celebrities, and I have not had an affair with Tiger Woods." Well she sure is denying this pretty hard.

It is a little suspicious that Tiger Woods has not spoken to police in reference to his Friday morning car crash. He was injured and did not play in yesterdays golf tournament he was scheduled to host, the 2009 Chevron World Challenge. Tiger Woods Foundation president and CEO made a statement of support saying, "We support Tiger's decision and are confident the strong field and excellent course will provide and exciting week of competition at the Chevron World Challenge." Woods is not participating in any more tournaments of 2009 but plans to return in 2010. Well that is only a month away so not a huge loss.

I don't know if anyone will ever know what really happened Friday morning. Tiger Woods has always kept his private life well, private. He is extremely disciplined and will hold his tongue for a long time. Also if Rachel Uchitel keeps denying, denying, denying than no one will ever know the truth. I guess mums the word.

Chelsea Clinton engaged to boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky -- for real this time

Chelsea Clinton has announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky -- via e-mail.

How Etiquette 2.0!

The Ministry means that in a good way -- this way we know it's for real, unlike the last time they "got engaged."

The text of the e-mail sent Friday, as reported by @jaketapper over at ABC News:

"We're sorry for the mass e-mail but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc."

Mezvinsky, whom she first met in D.C. and then got to know better at Stanford University before they began dating, also has political parents. Chelsea and Marc been dating since 2005 -- he's an investment banker now, and she's in grad school at Columbia University.
During the most recent presidential primaries, the former first daughter broke her policy of not speaking to the media (as was her practice since dad Bill Clinton was president), and campaigned for her mom, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The Ministry is pleased that Chelsea is respecting its completely arbitrary "Don't get married before you're 30" edict. She's 29 now, but with a February birthday she'll hit the Ministry's magic number in plenty of time for the ceremony.

We're guessing she has ignored our "Don't vote till you're 25" corollary, however.

We get a lot of heat for that one. Doesn't mean it's wrong.

Congrats to Chelsea and Marc!

Serena Williams faces huge penalty for US Open outburst

SERENA Williams faces the prospect of being hit with the largest fine in tennis history when the world champion is finally penalised for her US Open meltdown.

Industry sources last night indicated the International Tennis Federation's Grand Slam committee was close to reaching consensus on the Williams case - almost 12 weeks after the US Open incident.

Williams has been cited under the sport's code of conduct for committing a major offence, an infraction which carries possible suspension from January's Australian Open.

Williams allegedly threatened to kill a lineswoman in New York, monstering the official with: "If I could. I would take this f - - -ing ball and shove it down your f - - -ing throat".
The winner of 11 majors, Williams almost certainly will be allowed to contest the 2010 Australian Open, where she is the defending champion.

But she is likely to receive a fine which far outstrips the $US100,000 ($107,979) Lleyton Hewitt was docked in 2002 for missing an interview in Cincinnati. ITF Grand Slam administrator Bill Babcock has completed his investigation, taking evidence and submissions from Williams and the officials.

Those findings will be discussed at the ATP World Tour finals at the O2 Arena tomorrow by the four members of the Grand Slam committee.

One option is to ban Williams from contesting next season's US Open. Alternatively, the committee could strip Williams of her $US342,825 prizemoney and the 900 rankings points.

There are suggestions a $1 million fine could be levied with a good behaviour bond.

Williams' outburst was triggered by a suspect foot fault call in a tense semi-final against Belgian Kim Clijsters.

Williams has apologised several times for the incident.

It is understood officials intend to release the Williams decision after next week's Davis Cup final in Barcelona.

Rachel Uchitel, the woman branded as mistress to Tiger Woods by the National Enquirer, sets the record straight to Usmagazine.com: "I did not have an affair with Tiger Woods." She adds: "I met him twice and have not heard from him since."

Woods suffered facial lacerations in a car accident outside his Florida home at around 2:25 am Friday -- and some reports suggest that he and wife Elin Nordegren had been arguing about the infidelity headlines, potentially leading to his accident.

Uchitel spoke to Usmagazine.com minutes after Woods' crash was reported. She wished the golfer well, but added "this has nothing to do with me. I don't understand why anyone would think this is anything to do with me."

In a conversation days before Woods' crash, Uchitel insisted her innocence to Us. "I have not had an affair with him. I understand that there's rumors all over because everybody's talking about it.
