Dagenham fought back to gain a 1-1 draw in a hard-fought contest against a battling Hereford side at Edgar Street.
Wesley Thomas snatched the Daggers' equaliser in the 83rd minute when he headed the ball past goalkeeper Adam Bartlett to cancel out James Walker's opening goal for Hereford three minutes earlier.
Playing against a gusty wind Hereford had the better of the exchanges in the first half, with Marc Pugh and Walker going close.
Pugh had two goal-bound efforts saved by goalkeeper Tony Roberts who also made a fine save to deny Walker in the 37th minute.
Dagenham's best efforts in the first half came from Josh Scott who just failed to find the target from 12 yards.
After the break Hereford's on-loan winger Mark Marshall also forced a diving save from Roberts at the foot of the post.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 80th minute when Walker lashed a 20-yard shot straight at Roberts who could only parry it over the line into the net.
But within three minutes Thomas out-jumped the Hereford rearguard to head a cross from Danny Green into the net from close range.
