Erin Barry is officially divorcing former NBA basketball Brent Barry.

Late last year, Erin Barry was involved in a controversy when it was alleged that NBA player Tony Parker was sending her hundreds of text messages.

The phone messaging was thought to have lead to the breakup of Parker's marriage with Eva Longoria.

A week before Thanksgiving Parker and Barry were alleged to be having an affair. Longoria filed for divorce soon afterwards.

Outlined in the Barry's divorce proceedings is a plan to share joint custody of their two young children, according to TMZ.

"The docs show Brent and Erin signed a prenup before they tied the knot - which will determine how they will divide their property. The terms of the prenup are confidential.

"But get this, Erin was awarded child support through 2013 to the tune of $4,000 a month - but agreed to stop taking Brent's money three years after she graduates from law school ... with the expectation she can provide for herself."
