Christina Hendricks is still one of the hottest women alive, in and out of her period costumes as the smart and sassy secretary Joan on Mad Men. But before that show, she had a career. A career promoting drinks (summer shooters) in the likes of Playboy. Twitter lead itself to a Christina Hendricks uproar earlier today when tweeting ‘Who is the famous actress in this photo from the July 1999 issue?’ The photo is above. Obviously, the actress is Christina Hendricks. What’s less obvious is that she’s so hot and pale, it not only negates the terror of a random clown appearing in what looks to be a happy and fashionable summer shoot, she blends right in with said clown. And makes it look weird that a frightfully orange person is inserted randomly into the shoot.

Jesus Christ, that man looks like Rudolph Valentino’s unnecessary bastard lovechild. And he’s spoiling an otherwise normal portrait of Christina Hendricks with a clown, the stuff that nightmares and dreams are made of.
