The Supreme Court of the United States reportedly ruled today that Hustler magazine can be sued for publishing Nancy Benoit pictures form when she was a young woman. The Nancy Benoit Hustler pictures were published in 2008. This decision overrules a lower court ruling.

Wrestler Chris Benoit killed wife Nancy and their seven year old son in a murder-suicide that shocked the world. Nancy Benoit was just 43 years old.

Her family brought a lawsuit against Hustler Magazine for publishing the photos which were over twenty years old. The family claimed Nancy Benoit asked for all photos be destroyed by the photographer but they were not.

A lower court ruled that the photos could be published but later appeals overturned that ruling.
