Throughout the interview it was a little awkward as “Bob” didn’t seem to be that comfortable and the host kept making fun of that fact. The two actors have great chemistry and were being referred to as a married couple, and Hoff kept it light and friendly.

If you didn’t see last night’s Letterman be sure to check it out below. Dustin Hoffman has visited the set many times and you could tell he was way more comfortable. On the other hand, Robert De Niro has only participated in the show once via satellite reading the top ten, and you can check out the clip here. This time in studio he slouched in his chair and seemed to barely acknowledge the host. Even though there was some unexplained uneasiness, overall the appearance was quite entertaining.

The aging actors have had some amazing roles during their careers and they alluded to some of them as well as talking about their newest movie ‘Little Fockers’ which opens Wednesday, December 22nd. I don’t know what this movie will be like, but the other two had me laughing so hard and I wouldn’t mind seeing Jack Byrnes and Bernie Focker again!
