Steve Jobs will allow bestselling author Walter Isaacson, who chronicled the lives of Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, to publish his biography next year.

The Silicon Valley icon, who has battled a rare form of pancreatic cancer and undertook a liver transplant in 2009, granted exclusive interviews to the biographer over the course of three years -an unprecedented level of access to the CEO.

celebrity . With both Beastly and Sucker Punch disappointing at the box office, Vanessa Hudgens' attempts to build a more mature reputation as an actress aren't going so well. To the High School Musical star's credit, however, she doesn't appear thrilled by the nude photos of her that are suspiciously released whenever she seems to have a film coming out.

"It's just silly, because I'm a very present person, and that's the thing that has been so in the past," Hudgens told the Los Angeles Times. "The fact that somebody keeps bringing up the past is just selfish. I mean, it sucks. I already released a statement the first time it happened. It's just unfortunate that it keeps reminding people about the past and not the present."

Cameron forms 3-D venture

movies . Avatar director James Cameron on Monday announced a new venture aimed at making 3-D technology cheaper and more accessible to filmmakers and television networks.

Cameron, and fellow 3-D pioneer Vince Pace, who together developed the Fusion 3-D camera system used on the 2009 blockbuster movie, said they planned to develop a new generation of camera systems, services and creative tools.

The duo said they hoped to "accelerate worldwide growth of 3-D across all entertainment platforms including features, episodic and live television, sports, advertising and consumer products."

Del Toro a dad-to-be

celebrity . Benicio Del Toro is expecting his first child later this year, and the baby's mother is none other than Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly.

Life & Style broke the news Monday and Del Toro's rep, Robin Baum, has since confirmed the report, saying, "Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby."
