The former 30 year old NFL player and Georgia Tech Star Nick Rogers has been reported to have died in a can accident when his car hit the utility ploe in College Park, Georgia.
Rogers was killed last Monday about 1:30 in the morning, said the Fulton County Medical Examiner.
Rogers spent four years in the NFL and after he played 16 games for the Vikings in 2002-2003, he had stints with Green Pay Packers for a total of 10 games, another game with Indiana Colts, and three games with the Miami Dolphins. Nick also played in 2008 with the Colorado Crush in the Arena Football League
Nicks’s former Georgia Tech teammate Sean Gregory said “He was an upbeat guy who never let anything really bother him. He never actually realized how great of a football player he was. He just had a zest for life that was amazing. He brought us so much laughter, got us through the hard days and the two-a-day grind of football.”
