There are many types of people young girls can look up to. While most of these women are celebrities, there are a few women out there that aren’t celebrities that make great role models for girls.

When girls were young they would always say they want to be a doctor, lawyer or celebrity. I’m guessing not many girls would say they want to be an ice road trucker when they grow up.

Lisa Kelly, 29, lives in Wasilla, Alaska and loves being out on the road, according to Fame Crawler. She may be 29 years old, but she’s been driving for a while now. She was quoted as saying:

“I’ve already proved myself to the guys in Alaska because I’ve been driving for six or seven years. They already know I can drive, but when the cameras are on, I have to reprove it to the world.”

Kelly wants girls to know that they can grow up to be anything they want… even if their career choice isn’t exactly traditional.
