Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is active for the Vikings' Week 13 match up against the Buffalo Bills. Peterson was injured during the second quarter against the Washington Redskins Week 12. Lorenzo Alexander, a Redskins linebacker, landed on the back of Peterson's leg and that caused the apparent ankle injury. Backup running back Toby Gehart got his first real action of the year, carrying the ball 22 times for 76 yards (a 3.5 yard per carry average) and a touchdown.
Peterson's teammate Percy Harvin won't be joining Peterson on the field. Harvin will be sidelined by his migraines. In the past Harvin has dealt with his migraines disrupting his ability to play. Week 14 looks good for Harvin to return to the field of play.
In other fantasy news, Austin Collie is not expected to play for the Indianapolis Colts today. After suffering a concussion against the Philadelphia Eagles, Collie has had lingering post-concussion symptoms and they will keep him out of today's game versus the Dallas Cowboys. Antonio Gates will be a game time decision as he is once again questionable for the San Diego Chargers. The Miami Dolphins number one wide receiver Brandon Marshall is inactive.
