Miley Cyrus is one of the most popular celebrities today. She acts, sings - kids love her, but her young fans' parents aren't happy about her latest video.

Cyrus, who just turned 18, was caught on video smoking a bong and getting high, but she claims it's not marijuana she's smoking.

Miley claims she was smoking a legal herb you can purchase online and in some stores that can get you high and even make you hallucinate. It's called salvia.

So what exactly is salvia?

It's a psycho-active plant, native to Oaxaca, Mexico. You can either smoke it, chew it or mix it with water.

Some states have passed laws against salvia, but it's legal across much of the United States, including here in Arizona.
